At the church of St Philippe du Reuie Paris, M. PEYTEL, connected with the financial world, to Mdlle DUMAS, daughter of Alexander DUMAS. A great number of literary and theatrical personages were present on the occasion, and at the celebration of mass Roger of the Grand Opera, sang the, "O. Salutaris" It is said that M. A. DUMAS Jnr, placed the sum of 25,000fr in his sister's corbellie

Recently at Montreal Capt PLATT of the 16th Regt British Army to Miss Louisa HOWARD, an accomplished actress.
