Messers, J. R. JEFFREY, R. W. HOUGHTON, Lawrence PEEL, Sat in the crown court for quarterly transfer of licences. Clarke ASPINALL applied for a transfer for Mr PARKINSON tenant to Mr RIGBY, Crosshall St to a house in Hatton Gardens. The corporation possessed the house for renovation in February. The new premises in Hatton Gardens had room for 14 beds made up. -License granted
ASPINALL applied for transfer of license of John JONES to George WESTON, JONES opposed on the grounds that he had been forced from the house by Mr HAMMOND, Brewer and Mortgagee. Mr SNOWBALL appeared for Mr JONES to oppose the license-License granted.
