The funeral of Mr Charles DICKENSON of Falkner St, took place on Friday at Anfield Cemetery. Mr. Dickinson, who was 58 years of age, was well known in the printing and stationery trade of Liverpool. For some fourteen years he was connected with the firm Kirby and Co., wholesale bookbinders, King St, Liverpool, and was previously with the firm of Dickinson and Co, envelope manufacturers etc, of Cable St and Paradise St, Liverpool

LIVERPOOL MERCHANT DROWNED.
Mr James Acworth a member of the well known firm of Ashworth, Armitage and Ellison Ltd, wallpaper merchants, Liverpool and Birmingham, was drowned on Wednesday whilst bathing at Tydweiliog, North Wales. There was a heavy sea rolling and a ground swell which came and swept him away. The deceased had been in Wales for a two week holiday. He was widely known in trading circles and highly respected as a merchant. He was 51 and resided in Ettington Rd, Anfield, he leaves a widow, a son who is in the army and a daughter. Interment will take place at Anfield Cemetery on Monday.
